Vet To Home offers Mobile Veterinary house calls around the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Our team is fully equiped to offer your pet expert Veterinary care and advice at home. We are taking extra precautions at this time, wearing gloves, sanitising between houses and patients and ensuring we practice social distancing. You don’t need to worry your pet can still access Veterinary Care during this time.
We provide routine health care, vaccinations, microchipping , worming, medical consultations and treatment of sick pets all in the comfort of your own home.
Will the Vet provide medications on the day of the visit?
Our Veterinarians carry all the medications we need to treat your unwell animal on the day, including blood tests. If we need a medication that is not routinely stocked we will order it and deliver or post it to you in a timely manner. We can also provide long term medicaitons to your pet allowing life long care.
What if my pets continues to be unwell after the Vet visit?
If we feel your animal is best treated in a Veterinary clinic we can refer them into one of our partner clinics. We work closely with several local Veterinary clinics to ensure your pet is given the best care possible. Follow up visits can be done by us at home.
Our team is small and our service is boutique and you see the same Veterinarian each visit allowing us to build an ongoing relationship with you and your animal. We have been seeing some animals for over 15 years!
Are home visits as stressful for my pet as going into a Veterinary Clinic?
After doing hundreds of housecalls our Veterinary team knows pets are so much happier when they are treated in the comfort of their own home. Dogs often greet us at the gate and cant wait for a pat and many cats run up to us and say hello with a nudge on the leg asking for some attention. No stressful cars trips, cat carriers or waiting in noisy waiting rooms.

Lauren has been looking after our two labradors since we moved to Melbourne two years ago. She is more than a vet, she is a friend. She not only provides excellent veterinary care when she consults, she also rings to see how they are going, and spends ages talking to me and giving advice on their general care. She doesn’t get paid for this! She really does care about them and about their ‘whole of life’ experience. And about me, and how I am coping when one of them is not well or when we got a puppy who has some challenging behaviour.
Oh and yes of course it’s great to have someone come to our home to consult, it’s SO much easier. You’re not getting a cheap and nasty experience because she’s a mobile vet, she’s not someone to use just when it’s out of hours and your usual vet is unavailable, she really is someone who is an awesome vet and you should use her as your every-day, usual vet.
